May’s property of the month is a beautiful semi-detached villa in one of the most desirable cul-de-sacs in Newlands – yet we knew of properties on the same street which hadn’t sold as quickly as expected. Would we experience the same challenges?

Set within one of the most desirable cul-de-sac settings in Newlands, this semi-detached villa had so much to offer potential buyers. Well-landscaped front and back gardens, a spacious driveway and converted attic space. Outstanding period features included ceiling roses, picture rails, stained glass window inserts and gorgeous fireplaces. And modern elements too, such as a fitted kitchen and a bright spacious windowed lounge.

But we had to be careful we approached the sale in the right way.
