Our January property of the month offers the perfect Southside location, with all of the benefits of city life while being located only a few minutes’ drive from Queens Park. Our property of the month is Battlefield Avenue.
Battlefield Avenue is a beautifully presented one-bedroom, one-bathroom red sandstone tenement flat, set in a very sought-after residential street. The property was presented to the market in true walk-in condition and offered many traditional features such as ornate cornicing and ceiling roses, high ceilings and a large dining sized kitchen. It was no surprise to anyone in the office that we were quickly inundated with enquiries, we were delighted when we managed to achieve a fantastic sale for the owner at a closing date within two weeks of the property hitting the market.
You could be forgiven for that thinking the housing market may be on the back foot just now, like many other industries it has certainly faced its challenges over the past year.
