If you go down to Woodlands today…

We’re sure all of you will agree it’s been a strange year full of surprises! Perhaps our biggest surprise this year was just how busy we’ve been! Yes, we’re sure you’ve all heard about the recent boom in the property market. With lockdown came many people re-evaluating their situations. Naturally, that resulted in a lot of people looking to make a big move. Since then, it seems our phone hasn’t stopped ringing! Luckily, we recently took a big step as a business that has helped us cope with this massive influx of enquiries. If you’re around the Woodlands area of Glasgow perhaps you’ve already spotted it? Well, we won’t keep you guessing any longer, we opened our very first Walker Wylie shop.

With the help of creative design agency Cole AD who handled the signage and painting of our storefront, we opened our very first Walker Wylie shop on Woodlands Road on 29th June this year. It was exactly the right time to be able to safely operate our business in line with restrictions and to cope with the incredible amount of interest in buying and selling property in Glasgow. We’re delighted to have been able to take this step, it’s a testament to the continued success we’ve seen over the years and a large part of that is due to our loyal customer base. The location is particularly special to us as one of our co-founders lives in the West-End of Glasgow, and we’ve had astounding success in selling properties in this location over the years – so it seemed a fitting area for our store.

As the pandemic continues and restrictions change, we’re having to adapt our approaches in line with government regulations. Meetings at our office are by appointment only and we ask that customers please wear a mask while in our shop. However, we look forward to the day when we can welcome more of you to our new place! We’re excited about the future of Walker Wylie, and we hope you are too!
