So how did we do in 2021? The word ‘incredible’ springs to mind. In fact, in the West End Property Market alone, the only downside to our success at times was keeping up with the insatiable buyer demand we witnessed – something we’ll be very much meeting at every opportunity in 2022.
Buyers were decidedly not waiting around, and West End homes were only on the market for an average of just 10 days before they were snapped up – with the vast majority going to closing dates. And that all goes without mentioning some of the truly unbelievable offers some buyers made to take a home off the market as soon as they could to beat off the competition.
This meant West End properties achieved between 10-15% above home value report on average throughout 2021.
However, many sales were way more than this due to the supply and demand issues we are still experiencing in the Housing Market. And just like 2021 (the year that started quick and kept getting quicker), the market shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
2022 is already looking like another robust year with strong buyer demand and lightning- fast decision-times. So, if you’ve been considering putting your home on the market – make hay while the sun shines.
