The concept of Walker Wylie was born out of our experience working as Area Directors for one of Scotland’s leading independent estate agents. We understand the advantages of both the high street and online offerings, hence our confidence in offering a combination of the two as Glasgow’s first true Hybrid Online Estate Agency.

What’s The Difference?

Firstly, when you invite Walker Wylie to value your home we are only interested in discussing your home and your circumstances. Unlike high street estate agents, we have no reason to spend valuable time negotiating fees as your commission fees are fixed, no matter the value of your home. This allows us to fully focus on ensuring you understand exactly where your home resides within the prevailing market conditions.

Secondly, we have worked hard to ensure our business model is not mistaken with online estate agents who simply offer a means of listing your home on the leading website portals. This approach fails to acknowledge the importance of experienced local knowledge in ensuring you receive the correct marketing advice. The professionalism and personal guidance provided by an experienced valuer will ensure you remain ahead of the curve.

Furthermore, the majority of online estate agents insist on selling fees being paid upfront. At Walker Wylie, our fixed selling of £695 is only payable on completion of a successful sale. Call us old fashioned, but we believe payment is only due when the job has been completed.
